Learn to make your very own 30cm diameter double-sided lampshade at the Peek-A-Boo Lampshade Making Workshop!
We make a drum shade because it is a classic, yet modern, shape that works with every style of house and with any style of fabric and you can make your shade for a lamp or to attach to a ceiling fitting.
Because the drum shade is so versatile, anyone can find the perfect spot in their home for a custom drum shade!
Additionally, making a double-sided lampshade gives you even more room to be creative with your home decor.
In this workshop you'll learn:
- how to attach your fabric to the lampshade PVC
- how to prepare your rings
- how to use a tucking tool
- tips and tricks to getting a professional finish.
As an added bonus, you'll have heaps of fun!
As well as all the fun you'll have, at the end of this easy-to-follow Peek-A-Boo lampshade making workshop you'll have a professionally finished, one-of-a-kind, double-sided lampshade! You'll also have the knowledge you need to make more lampshades at home, easy-peasy.
All the supplies you need are provided - all you need to do is choose your own fabulous fabrics! 1/2 a metre sof each hould be plenty :) You'll need a lightweight upholstery fabric or heavy domestic cotton.
